With 30 years in the Durham Police Department—including time on the Selective Enforcement Team, in narcotics investigations, and as a division commander—John understands what real leadership looks like. After retiring, he built a successful career in commercial real estate, giving him the budgeting and management experience needed to lead effectively. Today, he’s running for Sheriff to serve the community he and his family proudly call home.
